Family Ministry - Children
Roots Church preaches victory over sin through sacrifice made on the cross by Christ Jesus.
We boast in Him and Him alone, and we spend our days trying to walk out our lives in a manner appropriately reflects the authority placed in us as sons and daughters of God. We believe this starts with equipping our children and speaking prophetically over them so they are rooted in their identity in Christ.
WHAT WE DO:
We learn an age appropriate lesson from the bible using DIG-IN curriculum. We conclude the hour by praying for each other.
For our toddlers, we incorporate play with learning about grace and sharing. As staff members, we pray for the little ones to become Godly men and women.
OUR VOLUNTEER SCREENING PROCESS:
Roots Church is a place where your child's physical and emotional safety comes first. In addition to criminal background checks, every Roots Church's leader goes through an extensive safety and best practices training, and one on one interviews before joining the team. We would be happy to answer any questions you have about our leader screening and training process.
ARE YOU NEW TO ROOTS CHURCH?
When you first arrive,
please check your child in at the
Child Drop-Off: Teachers can be easily identified with name tags attached to lanyards. For first time visitors
(or those with young toddlers), we ask that parent would walk their child downstairs to the classroom.
Child Pick-Up: Children will remain downstairs in their classroom until they are signed out by their parent or guardian;
children are only released to the designated individuals.
Permission for any one else to sign out a child must be directly notified to a teacher in advance.
