Welcome to the Neos College Ministry Facebook Page! This will be your one-stop shop for all updates regarding services, events, transportation to church, as well as a way to communicate with the greater Neos fam.

If you're new to our ministry, I laid out answers to some questions you may have below:

We are a brand new (as of Fall 2017) college ministry based on the University of Washington Seattle campus, and the college ministry of Roots Church in Seattle, WA. You can find more information about Roots Church at www.rootsnw.org

Neos is the Greek word for "new". It's specifically used in Colossians 3:10 that says "...and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator." The Bible often talks about how in Christ we are "new" creations (2 Cor. 5:17), that we ought to live in the "newness" of life (Rom. 6:4), and that God is making all things "new" (Rev. 21:5). Our hope and vision for this ministry is for everyone to discover and walk out this new life that Christ offers us. A life that Christ paid for on the cross, a life set free from slavery, and a life walking in a deeply intimate relationship with the Father.

My name is Stephen Kim and I am the College Director for ROOTS Church. My friend Nathan Lee from Seattle Bridge Church will be our worship leader for our services. Various members of the leadership at ROOTS church will also be involved. Ultimately, however, our hope is to raise up and disciple college students to be leaders of this ministry and to make an impact on the college campus.

Where: Vineyard Christian Fellowship (4142 Brooklyn Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105)

When: Every other Thursday (next one is 11/9!)

** As a brand new ministry, we are still waiting to officially become a UW RSO. Once we are officially registered, we will be able to find a consistent meeting spot and time. For now, we will be posting here weekly about events!
